At the beginning of 2005 the embassy in Haymarket street began the process of refurbishment. With the layout and design of the offices to be completely overhauled, management decided to upgrade to a system that would better compliment its surroundings.

Established in 1996 the Kilburn One Stop Shop has progressively grown in the number of service users it caters for. The department moved to larger offices in 2003 to accommodate the ever growing number of customers.
The Willesden One Stop Shop was re-located to new premises within the Willesden Library Center in May of 2001 after experiencing visitor congestion at its previous location.
Brent Council covers a large geographical area, and has six One Stop Shops located in convenient areas across the borough. Lonsto systems are used in each One Stop Shop, to varying effect.
