This is due to the escalation of ‘worker freedoms’ generated through the ten member state accession into the Euro-zone in 2004. The enlargement of the Euro-zone in January 2007, with the accession of Romania and Bulgaria, means that embassies within the UK will continue to feel the strain of increasing workloads.
